Annual Meeting of National Focal Points of Least Developed Countries
The annual meeting of National Focal Points (NFPs) of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) will be held in Lusaka, Zambia, on 31 March 2025. This year’s agenda will center on the application of the Guidelines on Mainstreaming and Monitoring the DPoA, updates on national progress and challenges in the implementation of the DPoA, and the preparation of national reports for the upcoming high-level midterm review of the DPoA. Additionally, discussions will review the evaluation of UN-OHRLLS support to the NFP network with an aim to provide structured support and targeted assistance for LDCs NFPs. This year’s meeting precedes the Third LDC Future Forum, which will provide NFPs with a valuable opportunity to engage in deliberations on innovative solutions that strengthen the resilience of LDCs.
